Wun wunders why foenick spelling methods arr stil tort in skools

I wonder whether you were ever told that you were a poor speller at school. If you were, I bet you can still remember exactly who told you that, where you were and how you felt……. The power of teachers and I should know…. I used to be one !Now think back and remember a time when someone said to you, “Excellent! Well done! Brilliant!” Close your eyes and really remember the picture of where you were, what you were doing and how you felt ‘ really hear the words that the person said to you clearly and let the warm feelings of success and pride cover you like a lovely warm blanket. Take those great feelings and sounds and pictures and spin them up and down through your body and then squeeze your right hand into a fist to anchor them into your memory. When I work with kids in school nowadays as a coach I always get them into a positive and confident state first as it aids learning and let’s the whole experience feel more relaxed and enjoyable.I think getting kids into a really positive state first is really important for you as parents to remember to […]

Financial Intimacy Affects Your Marriage

If you’re married, you’re probably sexually intimate and hopefully, emotionally intimate as well. But there may be one area of intimacy that you’re missing - and that could be a big mistake!Culturally, we link the concept of intimacy with romance, not realizing that we are talking about two different things. Romance is make-believe, it’s Disney, it’s a stage set - and it’s great. But not when it comes to money, which operates in the real world. When we think about money romantically, we’re basically not thinking at all. We’re just fantasizing. We need a wider definition of intimacy, a concept we currently link with the physical, sexual or emotional revealing of ourselves to another person in a most private way. We need to think of intimacy as transparency, especially when it comes to marital finances because so much is at stake.Unfortunately, full financial disclosure is still treated as taboo in many marriages, especially when the man makes the big money decisions. What to Expect When You’re Expecting: 4th Edition

What to Expect When You're Expecting: 4th Edition Announcing a brand new, cover-to-cover revision of America’s pregnancy bible. What to Expect When You’re Expecting is a perennial New York Times bestseller and one of USA Today’s 25 most influential books of the past 25 years. It’s read by more than 90% of pregnant women who read a pregnancy book—the most iconic, must-have book for parents-to-be, with over 14.5 million copies in print.

Now comes the Fourth Edition, a new book for a new generation of expectant moms—featuring a new look, a fresh perspective, and a friendlier-than-ever voice. It’s filled with the most up-to-date information reflecting not only what’s new in pregnancy, but what’s relevant to pregnant women. Heidi Murkoff has rewritten every section of the book, answering dozens of new questions and including loads of new asked-for material, such as a detailed week-by-week fetal development section in each of the monthly chapters, an expanded chapter on pre-conception, and a brand new one on carrying multiples. More comprehensive, reassuring, and empathetic than ever, the Fourth Edition incorporates the most recent developments in obstetrics and addresses the most current lifestyle trends (from tattooing and belly piercing to Botox and aromatherapy). There’s more than ever on pregnancy matters practical (including an expanded section on workplace concerns), physical (with more symptoms, more solutions), emotional (more advice on riding the mood roller coaster), nutritional (from low-carb to vegan, from junk food–dependent to caffeine-addicted), and sexual (what’s hot and what’s not in pregnant lovemaking), as well as much more support for that very important partner in parenting, the dad-to-be.

Overflowing with tips, helpful hints, and humor (a pregnant woman’s best friend), this new edition is more accessible and easier to use than ever before. It’s everything parents-to-be have come to expect from What to Expect…only better?.
